The bunches, from our steeper soils and more exposed to the sun, derive from a in-plant selection aimed at full phenolic phenolic and aromatic maturity. The Barbera and Trebbiano grapes obtained through pre-wilting on the vine, are processed in grapes and destemmed with minimum crushing just a few hours after harvest, strictly carried out at cool cool temperatures. Fermentation takes place keeping the skins and grape seeds as as intact as possible, slowly for about 12 days, with periodic stirring periodic stirring of the mass to favour extraction and complexity in the wine. Subsequently, after a short period in cement casks, Lanzato is aged in barriques on its noble lees for 12 months. Following bottling, it is destined for at least another 6 months in bottle before proceeding with sale.

An ambitious wine, an integral part of the wine-growing history of Valcamonica during the 20th century and today re-proposed in a modern key, by strength of that bond with the territory. Grapes of different berries and colours are united to express elegance, asserting structure, softness and tannicity. Ruby red in colour, with full consistency. On the nose, the elegance of ageing in barriques blends with the aromatic structure, to give a combination of sweet spices, combined with notes of cherries in spirit. On the palate, the wine is lively and long-lived, with constant salivation supported by a great body and full persistence, characteristics given by grapes harvested in territories unique.
